Grannie Used To Have One is based at Longhaven in an old Scottish granite farm stables that dates back to the beginning of the 19th century. We are situated 30 miles north of Aberdeen, Scotland, on the A90 the Aberdeen to Peterhead road. We are on a hill looking out to the sea and Slains Castle where the author Bram Stoker stayed and got his inspiration to write "Dracula". We are also near the world famous Cruden Bay Links Golf Course rated one of the top courses in the U.K and just 10 miles from us is Lonmay which is said to be the original home of Elvis Presley's family an area familiar to us as we perform house clearances all around Aberdeenshire.

The business has been established since 1991 and since then we have had the pleasure of meeting customer from all over the world.

We have now taken the decision to sell only on our webshop, and sadly the shop is now closed. If a customer wishes to call and see any item we have for sale, we will be happy to make an appointment for them to do so.

Our stock is wide ranging and very interesting. We specialise in Scottish Pottery, we also sell English and European pottery and porcelain, china, glassware, brass, copper, marine items, pictures, wooden items and furniture.

We source all our stock locally from Scottish homes and farmhouses, and pride ourselves on finding unusually and exciting items, and possibly that hard to find piece you have been searching for.

All items exclude postage but packing is free. As postage rates vary from item to item the postage rate is only a guide and you may pay a different rate to the one on your order. We will have any item weighed and let you know the exact postage before you buy. Please just e-mail us and we will be happy to provide this service.
