Exciting Announcement

Firstly we would like to express our sincere thanks to you for supporting our websites (IrelandsAttic.com, EnglandsAttic.com and ScotlandsAttic.com) over the past two years.
We have been working hard to provide our members with a platform to easily showcase and search for Antique related items.

Our websites have continued to grow in popularity, attracting a number of international users, growing to over 500 users in a short period of time. A number of you have given us feedback on how we might improve the platform therefore we have spent the past 9 months improving our offering and we are delighted to announce the launch of the new website under the name www.attiques.com (not online yet!)

We have taken on board your feedback and suggestions and have developed an intuitive, collaborative and broadreaching website. ATTIQUES.COM is easy to use, sophisticated and caters to a worldwide audience.

We took special care to keep the navigation simple while at the same time providing a more refined browsing experience. For visitors mainly interested in items in their own countries, for example, a convenient bookmarking option linking to their own country will be available.

With www.attiques,com our mission is to become the platform of choice for anything related to Antiques and providing our members with sophisticated tools and regular updates.

Some of the improvements and new features of ATTIQUES.COM will be as follows:

• EVENTS CALENDAR   -   to more efficiently schedule upcoming events
• ITEMS TO BE EVALUATED SECTION   -   a community valuation tool which also allows for members to leave comments
• WANTED ITEMS SECTION   -   list anything you have been looking for 
• PRICES IN DIFFERENT CURRENCIES   -   get a real-time currency conversion of an item
• ARTICLES/NEWS SECTION   -   free submission of Antique related articles
• LINK EXCHANGE DIRECTORY   -   if you run an Antique related business, you will be able to exchange links with us and be listed in our easy to search directory
• INTERNAL EMAILS   -   contact other members through our secure built-in emailing system
• NUMBER OF TIMES ITEM IS VIEWED   -   as a first step to give our members more visibility on how popular their uploaded items are, we have introduced a counter that will show how many times an item has already been viewed
• COMMENTS   -   members will be able to leave comments on other member's uploaded items as well as personal comments
• REFERRALS   -   visitors and members will be able to easily forward a link to interesting items to their friends

So what happens next?

ATTIQUES.COM will gradually replace IrelandsAttic.com, EnglandsAttic.com and Scotlandsattic.com but will run parallel for some weeks to give you a chance to get accustomed to the new services available. The exact go-live date will be announced shortly and we would urge our users to use ATTIQUES.COM instead from that date onwards.

As before, the first 3 items uploaded with 1 image each will be free of charge.
For members who would like to showcase more items or images to a worldwide audience we have developed attractive subscription plans and further options to make your items to stand out such as highlighting, featured sections etc.

Any items currently uploaded and featured on Irelands-, Englands- and ScotlandsAttic.com will be copied over to ATTIQUES.COM unless you expressly request us not to do so, in which case you will need to contact us.

You will not incur any costs through this transfer of data onto the new website and all usernames, passwords, uploaded items and its images will be kept. Any credit that you have added to your account already will be transferred over as well.

Again, we are very proud to offer you an improved platform in the form of www.attiques.com, and we thank you for your support over the past two years.
